I didn't know that such a good movie could be sooooo bad. What a waste of great acting, special effects, and visuals. Total lack of depth or intrigue in the events of Napoleon's life. In a 160 min movie, there's like 10 min of military action with no discussion of military strategy or any explanation of what's going on. The battle of Waterloo was like 3 minutes, send the cavalry, send the infantry, oh the Prussians are coming, ride away. That was it. Brutal.

Generally nonsensical, awkward and silly props, mediocre story and poorly developed characters. I got to the end and thought, that was it?
