I had some high hopes for this film, as the first one was fresh, funny, and overall a great time. Though Double Tap didn't really deliver on quite a few fronts. There were a few moments in the movie that were built up like they would really tug at your heart strings, and then they just didn't. Some of the best movies get you on multiple levels, not just the funny level, but also the emotional one. I was not emotionally attached to this movie whatsoever. I didn't care about the characters plight and the story arc of Little Rock really didn't have any closure which was pretty disappointing. I did however, really enjoy Tallahassee's story arc, though I wish it would have gotten in depth a little bit more. It partially seemed as though they were just making him unhappy to add drama to the plot when he had clearly been happy for ten years and was just now upset about something. I really liked some of the added characters. Madison was a breath of fresh air to the film and I'm so glad they added her. She was the most memorable part of this movie, honestly.
Overall I was happy with the humor, but I probably won't watch this movie again for a few more years.
