I don’t know where to start… The soundtrack, and I kind of like the high powered shots…that’s about it. Bought the game but will be deleting it off my ps5. Every year the EA Fifa game gets seemingly broken even more. I have been buying fifa game (on and off) since the late 00s and some are better than others but 23, takes the cake for the absolute worst one in its history IMO. It’s dead last, by far. 92 pace winger with a hunter? No worries, the BACKs with sub 85 pace will catch up, bodyslam you away and kick it forward with a physic-law defying backward pass that perfectly lands at his wingers feet - while your LBs sit idle and actually run the opposite way from defending. No worry, I’ll take control of the defender, track and tackle the opposing player. Nope can’t do that, they will block you defender (doesn’t work for me), turn and scoop and spin and move (but when I try it it’s clunky) while all your other defenders sit idle, not cutting a passing lane or anything. Which by the way - if you actually are able to get a tackle em - the ball will take a gravity defying move and just roll out of bounds just quick enough to stay away from your player trying to track it. When you are on offense, the opposite player manhandles your player with ease and take the ball. The touches are clunky, you need to seemingly control 11 players at once. Uncreative goals for an uncreative game. You need to pretty much sit back in formation and just hope they run into one of your players. i enjoyed fifa 21 much more, and even that one was bleh. FIFA 14 was the last good copy . No matter the tactics or instructions, fifa23 is broken. EA Fifa has been broken. I bought it thinking it being EA’s last year they would actually release a decent product - instead they do one last hurrah of taking peoples money via UT. Good riddance, if you want to keep your sanity do not buy this game, it’s legitimately a sad waste of your time and money.
