In my opinion this is the first rap album. The musical escaped that it takes you on travels through some of the most wonderful jazz phrases while keeping you grounded squarely in the hood. It feels like he made this one for nappy headed people.
It touches on important topics but yet remains light and fun loving it will definitely be in my rotation.
