Is it the same harrowing, action-packed movie we all loved as teens and have shared with our own children over the years? No.But it isn't a movie. It is a series that is developing the story over 10 40-min episodes. Episode 3 had the first signs of the deadly action we have all come to expect from the National Treasure franchise and I'm sure there is plenty more to come as the story continues to unfold. There have been moments of mystery and nods to the National Treasure movies that has kept the show entertaining. I also love that it is something I can watch with my whole family. In a day and time when so many new shows are rated MA, it is refreshing to have a show that is entertaining and clean.
So if you are wanting loads of action, coarse language, nudity, and sex, then this isn't the show for you. If you like bits of nostalgia, mildly unpredictable plots, and engaging relationships, then give the series a try.
