Maybe a bit too ambitious and too much going on, but was a better movie the 2nd time thru. Action packed with a solid storyline, the casting is superb and the movie is beautifully made. Nicholas Holt is a good Lex Luthor, if given little to work with. David Corenswet is an excellent Superman, and maybe the best Clark Kent yet, as his appearance does actually change with the hairstyle and explanation of the glasses. Rachel Brosnahan is a good Lois Lane. Love Skylar Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen. The cream of the crop has to be Ed Gathegi as Mr. Terrific, he stole every scene. Nathan Fillion is another great casting choice, even if his hair is distractingly bad. Superman isn't at the top level of superhero movies, with Logan or Winter Soldier, or End Game. But it's one of the best DC movies, up with The Suicide Squad. I actually enjoyed The Flash, in spite of Ezra Miller. Other than The Dark Knight, Superman has a claim to being tje best DC movie of this generation.
