This a great stand alone series, you don't even have to think it's connection from any Batman series or movies. Collin Farrell is brilliant as well as all other supporting cast. I've almost completely forgotten that this is a Batman multiverse because of how its story is being told. It could have been a blockbuster movie instead of the Joker.
