I'm sentimental, having just watched all of Craig's films in a row this weekend. And, I'm unashamedly a huge fan of a Craig Bond. Additionally, I'm feeling sad that, as I age, so too do the actors and stories I grew up watching. I was still iny 20's when I first saw Casino Royale.
All good things must come to an end and that is exactly what happened. I'm going to miss the raw humanity behind Craig's reactions that turned Bond from an invincible and immortal statue into a person that suffers from being human, just like the rest of us, even if he still seems immortal. As a father, I could feel Craig's fear as he looked at his child for the first time. I've always felt that each Craig film could easily be 5 hours long, because each character has depth and feels like family. It would not have been time waisted with that crew. Alas, I must say goodbye to my favorite Bond, but I'm glad they didn't forget what made him unique in No Time To Die. Thanks for the ride, I won't be forgetting it.
