This film is 1,000 times better than the Josh Whedon Justice League. It's visually stunning, much more character background for Cyborg, which makes sense as this was supposed to be seen as his movie in the overall Snyder story. Steppenwolf is a much better character. You learn about his motivation and he looks a million times better. The only negative thing is that Darkseid gets introduced and I'm afraid we're never going to get that payoff.

When I first saw the trailer, I thought that this movie might be horrible, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fight scenes were well choreographed and sometimes ultra violent (that's a plus) and the humor was spot on. If you like to suck on the Marvel teat and every film has to have Tony Stark because "Robert Downey Jr is so cool!" then you won't like this movie. It may actually challenge what you think a comic book movie should be like. Some people have complained about the jumbled nature of the story, but it's being told by a crazy person. That's why it is like that people. Robbie and McGregor were fantastic as were the supporting cast. This was a fun and entertaining movie. Those who focus on "female empowerment" as if it is a negative thing, are just beta, MAGA hat, wearing white males (I am a white male) who are afraid of anything usurping the status quo. Just watch the damn film and leave you political bias out of it.
