We started watching it and after its second episode were surprised and relieved to realise that none of us wanted to continue. Because no matter how it ends, it would still have this bitter, depressing and disappointing aftertaste from things that happen in the beginning. No matter if the victims get revenged and the villain gets punished, the feeling was that nothing can satisfyingly enough overweigh the damage (Checking the plot just proved it). So didn’t feel like to waste time on it.

Genna Ortega - shows the emotion her character feels. Martin Freeman - shows how his character hides the emotion. And that’s the difference in their level. A strange tendency of today’s cinematography - a pretty-ed up picture and confused ends of an idea put in a film. Reminds a photoshoot with a provincial photographer. Aiming for rich looks with nothing behind them. Result - packed in a tacky cover boredom. Same like in Saltburn. Wouldn’t rewatch any of them.
