If you’re thinking of watching this awful mistake of a film, don’t. It only took 30 minutes of this film to realise it is yet another completely abysmal piece of cinema, if it can even be called cinema. I thought Kristen Wiig was better than this, but clearly not. I want original productions to keep coming out rather than sequels and remakes, but if it’s another film as pathetic as this, and there are a lot of them, let it be a sequel of a much loved film instead. There aren’t words to describe how shocking this movie really is. The dialogue, basic and childish. I laughed, but not at the jokes. I don’t usually write reviews like this because I know that people in the film industry really put a lot into productions, but I had to say something about this. Even the wardrobe and set design was laughable. It was like watching a Nickelodeon film but for adults, not a good one either. I’d rather sit through another Fast and Furious film, because Family, right? The level of bad that this is on, for me, is probably with Hubie Halloween. If I didn’t have to rate it, I don’t think I would have, there are some films that just don’t deserve to have been made.
