I dont know why the writers decided to follow in the footsteps of the main series and absolutely massacre the source material, something the fans have been extremely vocal about for quite some time and have made clear is an issue. But here we are, with just more wasted potential, taking great actors and making them play terribly written characters. What they did to Eredin and Avallac'h is unforgivable, and this is the last chance any netflix based Witcher content deserves. Hopefully one day they'll sell off the rights and a network/streaming service with competent writers can have a go and deliver a product the fans can actually enjoy.
