Season 3; Episode 7; Evolution This episode was so amazing, I had to watch it twice. This is exactly what I want from an adult cartoon. Straight up darkness. The narration in this episode was just so captivating. Even the scene with Darkseid had me on the edge of my seat. “Indeed, Savage. Indeed.” Chills down the spine. I haven’t finished the entire third season yet, but this episode clearly stands out among the rest. I’m surprised by all the hate on the third season. I really liked that they kicked up the darkness by a few notches. I mean, I really liked Dick’s Robin persona, especially the laughing before he attacks, but I really enjoy the more adult themes of the third season.
