I have been an Amy Winehouse fan since I was ten, about 9 years and when I saw the trailer I wanted to cry. I thought this movie was going to be horrible. Mainly because the way they portrayed her in the trailer was beyond me. Inaccurate. I saw the biopic before it came out. Technically at my theater it came out the 16th so I basically saw it before anyone did. I was surprised at how good it was. The woman who plays Amy, Marisa Abela did a great job. She does not vocally singing sound like Amy but the emotion came through. All in all I think it was great.

I have seen this movie a bunch of times. I always watch his movies more than once because his performances are like no other. This one is one of my favorites because it is based on a book but because you feel for the character as if he was a real person. I suggest people watch this one.

For me I have always been a big Elvis fan, ever since age 9. Now I am 19. This will always be one of the movies I think people should watch to show them his real talent for acting. He put so much emotion to into this character of Clint. Will always be a favorite of mine.

All in all, this is a great movie. For me I just watched it for Christina Ricci. I did not really understand this movie because I had not known the real historical background of this movie but I do recommend this to anyone who loves history.

First things first I am a big fan of any piece of work Christina Ricci has done. She is an incredible and relatable actress. But for the movie I have some critiques. Her work on this film was great but the story sort of makes no sense to me. A little summary of this movie is that she moves away from her destructive husband to California with her son. They live in a haunted area with a pond and there is a monster in there. Her son Cody wants to make friends with it or see it. Laura (Christina) tells him to stay away from it or bad things will happen. Well he doesnt and they do. Thats all im gonna give for now I will let you watch and see. But for anyone who has seen it, is the woman in the pond Laura's dead mother or just a monster? Very confusing.

Personally, I have seen this movie around 7 times already. Charlize does an incredible job with portraying Aileen. From the clothes, to the way she looks and talks. Her and Patty Jenkins, the director worked so hard for this film. Charlize won an Oscar for this which she really deserves. Something some people may not know is that they filmed this everywhere it happened. They had road trips to find these places were Aileen was and things happened to get the story right. Now that is dedication. Like the scene where Lee gets arrested, that was really The Last Resort they were in. Also hats off to Christina Ricci who played Selby Wall (Tyria Moore) Lee's GF because you can really feel what she's going through and I personally can connect to that character and it feels good to know I am not alone. All in all, this movie is amazing. If I could give it 100000 stars I would because it deserves it.

For me, I love stories of Serial Killers especially Aileen's. But this is historically incorrect. She did marry Lewis Fell, yes, but she did not kill her brother. Her brother died of throat cancer and she was very sad about it because they were close. Partners in crime type of relationship. (Before Lee started killing the 6 men).
