A Bread

The film was below average. The start was pretty good, it was interesting to say the least, and the CGI is pretty good. But everything else was just meh, the acting wasn't the best. The fight scenes were just bad, they only had monsters fighting, I'd say less than 10% are actual soldiers fighting. Story's a mess, Yin Shou, a pretty major character just disappeared for half of the film, I'm guessing they're saving him for the next film. It took forever to reach the climax, the story seemed stuck on the enemies killing the XinQi people and getting the 封神榜 and the MCs trying to protect city. And the film could not bring me to care about any of the characters, they felt bland and one-. Any time they tried to make a meaningful conversation between the MCs, it did not feel natural, it wasn't bad, just couldn't make me sympathise with anything.
