So what was the point of this movie?? I guess I missed it even after watching it twice.

Without getting too deep, I felt that the viewers needed closure from the storyline of lovers Rick and Michonne, what with Rick not even knowing he had a son, and this series did just that. Even the appearance of an old enemy was wonderfully surprising. The familiar edge-of-your seat action was awesome! It wasn’t necessary for the series to be dragged out any longer than 6 episodes because Rick &Michonne’s relationship was already established. Good job Scott Gimple and Robert Kirkman! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

From his movies like I can do Bad All By Myself, Mea Culpa, Divorce in Black and now Beauty in Black, I am really inclined to believe that Tyler Perry does not like black women, and we are his biggest supporters. His plays had us laughing and praising God to this foolishness. After watching the 4th episode of Beauty in Black, I will not be continuing. This movie is disgusting, disturbing and disappointing. With the bad language, the homophobic sex, and the constant degradation of black women, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. I guess by having the iconic Ms. Debbi Morgan play the role of the mother of two debased sons would somehow motivate me to keep watching. Even his series’ storylines drag on forever! After 3 seasons of Sistas, Karen should have had that darn baby by now! I’m getting off the Tyler Perry train until he can write, produce and direct better content. Bye ✌🏽
