Are you ready to be more disappointed than you were at your high School homecoming? Then look no further than this game if your playing with others.
It's rated three stars purely because it's better than three and the Pre-Sequel if only this game was ran on borderlands 2 engine. If only it did not crash constantly on Split screen or on any online play it may be rated higher. If only they did not patch it, or hot fix it every other day it may be higher rated. A finished game? Who'd of thought? Especially for one of the last remaining couch co-ops?
The text in split screen and in general is microscopic to the point where you cannot read nor can you zoom unless you stand 2 in from your television. Weapon description? Well playing with others get ready to squint and click buttons to open up a whole new window where you can't compare items you currently have. All before you even pick up whatever item dropped. Skill trees? Got you covered where your avatar for whatever reason is visible in that menu, and the color scheme/tx makes it again near impossible to see what you invested your points in. Thank you for the strain.
The map and minimap is barely readable to the point where you ask yourself what intern did they bring on for this. You can't see your allies on the bright golden background or really location in general.
fast travel forget about it. You have to play a mini game purely to travel from area to area to the point where you have an over sized head Monopoly piece that you have to put your chin up to to look at and navigate.
the game is barely playable with others. But if you want to play alone like you did when you were a teen and learned the door locked on the bathroom, it is great, hilarious and fun. The side quests are fantastic! The villain is on point where you almost cheer him on instead. But again, you'll be playing alone... All by yourself...
Look no further friends it is a game loosely based on a franchise that you loved but yet is not part of merely a shell. It has the same voice actors and characters that you loved but do not compare them to their other versions from other titles.
I present to you wonderlands where you may wonder why they attempted to fix a wheel that was never broken and improve on a game that was craptrap past two....
Soo 3 out of 5 would not change a thing for single players.
