As a very avid tmnt fan over the years, reading the tmnt books and enjoying every other cartoon previously, i cant say I loved it, the character designs are cool and they are more fleshed out as characters, but in the wrong way and also not as much as other reviews are saying, in 03 particularly there was good bit of development and in Rise they develop and as said might be more fleshed out, but their personalities are virtually unrecognizable from every other iteration, i see the appeal for this, especially to its younger target audience, but i dont love it
