Cute and lovely movie with a positive message. Love the inclusive characters and that there is no need for a true villain. It is visually stunning and creative, no idea why critics are so harsh about it. Does every story really need a good vs evil? In the movie Ethan tries to get is dad and granddad to understand the card game he is playing. Where they are not to kill the demon spider but live in harmony with it. I think that this is exactly what we as society and human race need to learn. Maybe that ought to be the next step in our evolution...? Collaboration and do no harm? Maybe that would be a better way to live than the desire to dominate and subdue the earth and fellow living creatures?
