Michael Hirst is simply spectacular writer: character development,story pacing all finessed.. and the actors didn't disappoint(Season 1-4).They portrayed their characters with precision: Travis, Katherine,Skagard,King Herbert Truly it's a top tier historical show that rivals pound for pound to Game Of Thrones
