Set designer did a good job. Acting was good for modern adaptation with modern script. Jumps around, ALOT, making the plot hard to follow. Hair and costuming bears little resemblance to mid 19th century styles. With all of the information available to designers today, there is no excuse for this. PS. Poodles did not arrive in the US until the late 19th century and windsor knot ties are post Victorian.
