I thought the cinematography was excellent in color. The use of black and white film stock using different formats, edited within the film during hold ups, robberies, and shoot-outs would have given greater authenticity in this period piece! I thought Grainger’s performance far exceeded Hirsch’s, but their chemistry on screen was undeniable! Hurt has given better performances throughout his stellar career in filmmaking and it is too bad there weren’t any scenes scripted to expose his range of ruthlessness tenacity to hunt down this vicious crime duel that will forever live in infamy.
