I found the main theme in this movie was more about Parker than Elvis. I sat back in the theatre expecting to here Elvis's velvet voice and him singing his beautiful songs but I had to listen over and over to Houndog. I was a teenager when he became famous and found this movie extremely negative. I also went to see all his movies those years...nothing about that in this movie. It seems the person who wrote the script didn't like him a lot and didn't grow up when he was so famous and we loved him. Austin was good though. This could have been a BIG movie. I am so dissapointed.
