The storyline is very good.seems natural.The" steam sucking" thing could have been hokey but pulled off by the authenticity of the chararacters.they were all great. I stopped shy of 5 stars only in reverence to the original. There is not enough time spent at the overlook to fully set the weight of the place that Kubrick created so well.that being said I recommended it to most of my friends and to anyone who happens to read this
