I came home from a long day at work and honestly didn’t know what to expect at first. It’s one of the funniest buddy comedies of the year. Woody and Kevin have an unexpected comedic chemistry that made me laugh out loud too many times to count. It was a fun, enjoyable movie to take my mind off these depressing and dark times. The negative reviews I’m reading about this show tells me people have forgotten how to have a sense of humor and are taking the movie (and the title) way too seriously. I saw someone leave a negative review because they were expecting a movie about Toronto... how dull and lifeless do you have to be to fixate on the comedy’s title? Should No Country for Old Men only show old men in a rocking chair complaining about the country? People are too literal. This is how depressed people are they can’t just enjoy a funny film. Even news critics were taking the film’s title at face value. People need to learn how to just laugh again. I enjoyed every second of this movie.
