I had already read much about Lee Miller and admire her photographic work so was looking forward to watching this movie. There were one or two incidents that weren’t covered in the movie that I’d have liked to have seen, for example the burning of Hitlers house in the Bavarian Alps, the American and Soviet troops meeting up at the Elbe and the destruction of Nuremberg and the young woman sitting in the ruins whose CO wanted her hung, though she was imprisoned, when she was caught listening to allied radio when serving as the German equivalent of a WAAF. In my view it was good representation of Lee Miller based on her biographies and extracts of her journalism I’ve read and a good watch.
