The battle scenes were great and the 2nd half of the movie was way more entertaining than the 1st. I was disappointed that no one even attempted a French accent. It just made the film lack authenticity. For an actor as dedicated to roles as Joaquin Phoenix, I would have at least expected an attempt on an accent.
