100 percent honest review:
It was not good. Not worth the watch.
It felt more like a comedy than a rom-com. I laughed more at the bad dialogue than I did the jokes. Cringe central.
Mother and daughter had zero chemistry and it felt more like they were talking at each other than to each other.
I’m not a huge fan of the actress that plays the mother simply because, and this may sound harsh, but she’s not a good actress. Neither is the daughter. Worst cast pick.
The writing was atrocious because it felt like they copy and pasted it from a wattpad fanfiction, which would be good for wattpad writing but for professional writing no.
Idk what is up with movies today but there are so few that come out that are actually good anymore. Whats with casting directors hiring people that can’t act for one thing?
It just feels like there’s no heart for writing and movie making anymore. When did tv shows become better than movies??
Whoever worked on this movie and gave it the final go ahead to post to Netflix needs to take a page from the writers of Runaway Bride, Serendipity, Pretty Woman.
I mean COME ON
