Spectacular! My husband, former CPO, retired after serving 25 years in the USN, including serving in Viet Nam. It was a delight to see how caught up he became in the film and the humor he found. Cudis to the set directors who matched period.pieces at every level so successfully.

It's all been said except the cinematography frequently stunk when whole-body shots, e.g., during his dancing, etc., were dismissed for torso shots and body action, etc., was outside frame. And, really hated the intermittent blaring music.

Tedious to endure the mouth-breathing Cillian Murphy pant, grunt and gasp his way through a movie he should not have been allowed to try to carry.
