I'm surprised by the 5 star reviews. I just watched this movie for the first time and thank goodness it was for free. I never was drawn into the cast the crooked cop (Ernest) wasn't great and the good guys were just boring. The plot was just dopey and not believable even for the 1970's.

OMG this movie was so bad the actors who accepted their role must be desperate or dumb. For the life of me, how can someone give this 5 stars. The ship is huge, same size as original Titanic but yet it focused on three or four people. Also the avg age of the crew and guests was 25 or under so it seems. The captain didn't look old enough to drive a car. There were a few older people but they looked like extras Also what was up with the staircase, people have no issue running up the stair case until the last step then they fall. This happened a few times. Spoiler alert, I'm giving away the ending. It appears everyone and i mean everyone on the ship dies and those in the lifeboats as well. Except for one passenger, the nurse. Her father is in a helicopter, jumps into the water as the ship is now underwater, knows where to go and rescues his daughter. I might be wrong on some of this as i wasn't paying close attention but i think you get the point. I would give this zero stars but they did one thing correct, the nurse ex boyfriend remained dead. If you watch the movie, you'll know what i mean

I saw this movie when it first came out and just watched tonight. Slow moving at first but the ending makes you think about it. Movie is not for everyone
