Keaton does a good job recreating his quintessential Beetlejuice role but writers let him down. Winona... no, not her best. Jenna was good but once again most lines were lame. Ironic that her boyfriend in Beetlejuice was very much like her boyfriend in Wednesday. You deserve better, Jenna. Catherine was good as usual. Lines and plot were lame. She pretty much plays the same mother type in her movies. Quirky, funny, with a touch of maybe I do care. Kevin!! DeFoe was irrelevant. Am glad they "killed off" the dad for maybe not too obvious reasons. Saw his pic on a wall but they blew off his head so we didn't have to look at him. Fan of the original...quirky, funny, clever. This version proves it is hard to catch lightening in a bottle twice. If you must see and fans will, wait for it to stream.

Ending.. wife bludgeons to death the robber. THEN goes in and shoots her husband while he's tied to a chair. THEN she not carefully wipes prints off gun only to touch it again 🙄 as she places in the hand of the already dead robber. So what was she trying to do? Who killed whom. She didn't untie husband. She could not.have been trying to set up murder suicide + one dead gardener. And the shoes.... please take those ugly uncomfortable things off before you walk miles away. Terrible inaccuracies throughout.
