The show is my favourite programme of tv but I must say there are people with beloved inherited items that would dearly love to get them repaired by a craftsman, even be prepared to pay for it to be done. It seems though unless you have a sensational/heart rendering story,which I understand makes good tv, you don’t get a chance to have your repairs done. We would all like to pass our treasures on to the next generation but can’t find anyone to do the repairs, which in my case it was passed to me by my beloved and respected Nan, who went through a lot,and my granddaughter is to inherit it, The repair is not major for Brenton West to do, but to get the repair done would make me feel very happy as I was the one who damaged it!! It would alleviate my guilt.
