Although my son likes it, as an adult I might be reading too much in it. I think that Captain Man is a bully to those who are not like him. What I mean is that some of the things that Captain Man does to Schwoz would kill him. Examples are:
1) when Schwoz has a nose bleed and Captain Man shoves two hotdogs in his nose. In real life that would be damaging to his nose.
2) when Captain Man shoves a pineapple in Schwoz's mouth to shut him up. NO! Just no. For one thing, a pineapple wouldn't fit and the second thing is, that would kill him.
3) when Captain Man shoves Schwoz in a barrel of oats and leaves him in there and the kids find him like that. Schwoz would have suffocated.
This show teaches the popular people to bully those less popular like Jasper and Schwoz. If I were Schwoz and I designed the Man Cave and was treated rudely and disrespectfully by Ray, I would have quit.
As for the memory wiping device, Captain Man is so selfishly worried about his reputation than the trauma and damage the wiper does to the victims. That he wipes their memory and their blithering idiots and he goes on his merry way. Do they ever get their memories back? Do family and loved ones of these victims suffer from PTSD?
As for Captain Man, he thinks he's God gift to women and I think in the show, he's teaching that to Henry/Kid Danger.
Ray has absolutely no respect for anyone, which is what small kids are watching and learning.
The moral of this show is, if you're a big muckity-muck and popular you can bully people and disrespect those around you who are less popular than you.
What is this show teaching our children? Children watch this stuff and think that the things Ray does to Schwoz and Jasper is okay to do to people in real life.
And you wonder why there is so much bullying in school, despite the anti bullying policy. I give this show half a star.
