I was stunned by the quality of this movie. It ran a little long and the conflict with the other robots seemed unnecessary. Altogether a beautiful movie and well worth watching.

One of the all-Time great films. In conception it differs from the movies being made in Hollywood at the time, for it used no stars and was not designed to please the greatest number of people nor to coax them to part with their hard-won money. Instead, it was intended to be beautiful and in this it succeeded beyond the expectations of its creators. It shows only too well how women were exploited for the benefit of men.
