I loved it! It made me laugh in parts but also sad. I felt empathy for Alma and sadness for Tom when he got it wrong. Tom was convincing as a humanoid, but he also displayed many human attributes. I loved Dan Stevens in Downton so was already a fan but his German in this movie was exquisite to listen to and made me realize this guy can act. I guess the message was that love is universal and should be embraced wherever and whenever you find it. I will definitely be recommending this to my peeps.
