This game is not what some make it out to be, from the perspective of a “maleable” 16-year old. Yes, this is a game about cults, and killings, and all of these obviously terrible things. This game is not for children, but this is already known information. Just because a rating on a game says teen doesn’t mean you should be letting your younger kids play it. That being said, older teens should have the common sense that this is all fiction. Just as if you were playing GTA you aren’t going to become a killer and if you play Wolfenstein you aren’t going to become a nazi. Just because it has cute graphics does not mean it is a kids game. If your kids can’t distinguish fact from fiction and entertainment from real life, it says more to your parenting than anything. I played this game, I had fun, I said oh wow that’s crazy, and I went and sat ate my dinner, did my homework, listened to music, and went on with my life. The game is not so detrimental and terrible that a negative rating is necessary. That being said, this is a fun game. The combat reminds me of Hades a little, and I enjoy the customization of all the followers.
Also, just because a game has a feature does not mean they support it. I feel like the game goes out of its way to put in humor and stupidity to show that this is not a normal thing and it’s morally indecent. But again, these are compón sense things. Something that even adults seem to lack, heavily. Good job devs.
