I read over a few of the reviews, just to make sure that I wasn’t being too harsh and I think that a lot of you are actually biased as hell! You guys lack taste. And tried so hard to make this movie a big deal with Nicolas Cage constant name dropping. This movie was horrendous. It was not scary. It was very boring. I was confused the entire time, I had no idea what was going on. It took so long to connect dots to the plots and on top of that *SPOILER* after they unalived themselves in the investigation room I was like ‘OK …now what’ (with 12 minutes left in the movie at that.)
throughout the previews, there weren’t any pictures or strong screentime to show long legs’ face. And I was under the impression that that meant once watchythe movie we would get a great shot and jump scare of the perpetrator.
The movie only showed Nicolas Cage’s actual face and a handful of times out of the hour and 40 minute movie.
I watched plenty of trailers plenty of movie breakdowns from people on TikTok’s and YouTube and I was ready. I was pumped.I grew up on Independence Day, and man on fire as well as the devil’s rejects so I knew that this was going to be something that I would be interested in. Or at least I thought.
The main lead female actor was very underwhelming, and I really couldn’t establish an emotional connection with her. It was hard for me to believe that she was truly terrified or confused. Honestly, I take that back. She seemed extremely confused on a genuine level that I almost felt like she didn’t know why she was in the movie.
I don’t know maybe they should’ve had Rob Zombie throw his two cents in before they got to all this woofing and carrying on acting as if this was going to be the movie of the year.
I am not pleased, and this movie was a waste of my time. But unfortunately for them, they did not get my money because I watched this off of a free movie website …but I was so bothered by how POORLY written this movie was I still felt compelled to leave a review to warn others, don’t waste your time.
