I don’t normal watch these sort of things and that’s mainly because the hosts are so OTT and the contestants loud and full on.
The Fortune Hotel is a pleasant change in that Stephen is so down to earth and charming (we don’t keep getting told how amazing, wonderful, fabulous, etc etc. etc everything is that seems to be so readily said by other presenters today).
The twists in it have been good and it is cleverly done, i’m looking forward to the reveal tonight - bit of a cliff hanger last night.
It would be nice if the makers of such programmes and shows take on board that we are positive people but we don’t continually need to have our ‘spirits lifted’ by enthusiastic presenters on the tv and indeed radio (i know i sound like my old mum when she complained the Rolling Stones were loud and scruffy and she was sick of gyrating dances 😂😂). But i do really appreciate the laid back style of Stephen.
