I am simply a thirteen year old girl that was board so I picked up “the fault in our stars” by John green… and I simply could not stop. You know that feeling when you feel like your chest is about to burst because you’re so overwhelmed with an emotion, this book embodies that completely. Their is no such thing as a battle with an illness weather it be physical or mental, at the end of the day that something that illness is you. But this book tells a story of a teenager that has let their illness become them that teenagers name is Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters shows her all that she can do with the time she has… with the time they have. Is it Romeo and Juliet: No is it the greatest love story of all time: No. But I’ll be damed if I don’t appreciate the fault in our stars for what it is: a story about us, a story about humanity a simple non-explanation of death distilled down into a novel.
