This movie has an interesting premise, however there were several plotlines that never finished, entirely unnecessary scenes, and overall left me underwhelmed. "Searching" was only slightly better. "Missing" feels like a low budget remake of "Searching". Also, both movies leave out critical information that prevent you from predicting the ending until the ending. Speaking of the ending, TRIGGER WARNING! There are gunshots that go off in this movie. If that or domestic abuse trigger you, do not watch this movie. I think the Easter eggs were pretty cool, but I wish there were more of them.
Overall, entertaining, but only worth the price of renting it from the library or streaming from a service you already have. I wouldn't buy a movie ticket or a copy.
