Dracula and Mina were absolutely incredible in this movie. Their acting carried the movie, where unfortunately so many other things let it down. The terrible CGI gargoyles were a huge distraction, the script weak and often painfully cheesy. Dracula was dressed like Willy Wonka for the second half of the movie. Some scenes were cinetmatically beautiful such a Elisabetta in the snow at the beginning and the scene where Dracula enters the convent with the nuns. The battle scene at the beginning and the end combat scenes were also very well done. The rest of it felt incredible americanized and Jonathon Harker's character spoke like a modern teenager for some strange reason. So much potential, especially when they've cast Christoph Waltz as Van Helsing. The execution was overall disappointing.
