I love this book! Almost at any page I could pick it up and read even a sentence or two and just marvel at how much perspective Joy's words would have caused me to look at things. I'd highly recommend it for anyone to read. I hope she's working on writing another!
I met Joy when she worked with my Mom in therapy. I became an Occupational Therapy Assistant after observing Joy treating two people who'd had strokes. An older woman in her 70s and a young woman in her 20s. She tapered her treatments toward the time in their lives and their interests to help them get back as much of their independence as they could.
