Wow, and I thought the Sopranos ending was bad! This movie is much worse. It was like a mashup of “Groudhog Day” and “Waiting for Godot”. Yeah, I know this is supposed to paint a realistic picture of a nuclear attack, but c’mon - the brightest minds in the country can’t even merge two phone lines into a conference call? Really? And every nuclear failsafe system fails? Oh, and we have absolutely no human intelligence on who may have launched the attack? At least “Dr. Strangelove” made me laugh!
