~Wow so good 9/10~🤩 Coming from a Latina I LOVED this movie a lot in fact I enjoyed it more the coco! Meh… ( what I didn’t enjoy) ☹️ Idk about other films but this really didn’t have any plot it was mostly about the characters and casita 🏠 *but I still enjoyed it tho I didn’t hear any Columbian songs in which the characters sang which broke my heart 💔 Abuela tried to justify herself for her actions at the end of the movie .First of WHY?! 🤨 l know she did not try to make mirabel feel bad.Her past is sad but she shouldn’t have inflected trauma onto her grandchildren. ❤️things I liked❤️ The way the movie protrayed the effects of generational trauma and expectations especially toward immigrant families it was ~Mwah CHEFS KISS 😘 they handled it really amazingly( especially for a kids movie) they really outdid themselves 👏 The songs OMG the SONGS! 😆 So GOOD and memorable my favorite was we don’t talk about Bruno and welcome to the family madrigal! Awesome job Lin Manuel Miranda The rep 🇨🇴 The representation was so good I was speechless…. Jaw dropping Gold! Loved how they made the characters non stereotypical like Isabella(my queen) and Afro Latinos such as Dolores, and light skinned Latinos such as Tia Peppa!!! The characters 🐁 They We’re so funny and relatable loved them to the grave!Bruno was so charming and can’t forget about my queen Isabella Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4 1/2 stars Loved it <3
