I'd like to appreciate the attempt, first.
But my review is straight and honest, not euphemistic.
Good cinematography.
Mood - feel good.
I liked the line of women of 3 generations going on a road trip. But could have Been made waayyyy better. 3 generations usually has tremendous difference. Some of the oldest generations are way more forward than the latter generations, and vice versa, but this film doesn't have the weight to the concept itself. It probably was a selling point to make people watch, but it was mostly, "why did you cast a 3 generational film, when the generations didn't play a role in the ideology?" It felt like an easy, effortless route to build a story on, but had no importance to that concept. The same series with a slight alteration could have been made as a same generational film also. That is how vague and unnecessarily long, it was.
Very loosely written screenplay. Absolutely no grip.
Acting - absolutely dull.
Lakshmi ma'am was good as usual, but didn't see any director's essence there. It was regular.
Madhoo ma'am; she was damn pretty, but the acting was off the meter.
Other actors... Mediocre acting.
Young Sundari and Young Chandra (Sundari's husband) were a charm, I must say!
Disappointing direction.
There were places where the director probably intended to trigger an "awe" moment. For me, there was zero impact.
Right from the 1st episode to the last, my interest level remained consistently very low.
Direction's focus kept diverting.
Dialogues are very vague.
Dubbing; very poor.
Music, super cliché. A mixture of Samajavaragamana and Rasali, throughout the series.
Nothing new, nothing special.
The moment I saw Radhe Rathod, I expected "something". But it was just another character in the series. I wonder why they chose to have a crossover with Bandish Bandits, for no rhyme and reason.
I do not have a reason to specifically ask anyone to watch it, but your taste might differ. Be your own master, I'd say. Do watch it and review it.
All over rating - 1.5/5
