I feel this film would be better if the actors didn’t give such an artificial performance, I also feel that the filmmakers wanted to introduce the shock and horror too quickly once the movie started to pick up after our two protagonists are kidnapped, it felt to fast and forced, I think that if there was a large emphasis on very slow reveals for the various specific parts on the farm that slowly revealed each area and its various horrors within, the film would’ve carried more weight and the shock of what the audience is witnessing would have payed off to a more significant degree. Overall, the film did have an unsettling score and good visual detail from the general yellow hue that calls back to a lot of the older country type horror films, and (spoilers ahead) the final scene that gives off a last supper vibe was excellent, I wish the film had that consistent weight the last panning shot had.
