As a mountaineering movie, it's not a good movie because it doesn't really show the process. The scenery is really nice, which is the only thing it has good about it. The movie is not inspiring at all, mainly because the character is not really likable. His self-pity for being from Nepal, and at the same time, a visible arrogance makes him someone you wouldn't like to meet. He criticizes Western media for not paying him enough attention. But, how many Western mountaineers do most people know?! He was also part of the British army, something that not too many people of conscious find admirable. He briefly shares his experience in a war (probably Afghanistan). What a hypocrisy to criticize West when he was a small element of Western aggression. The movie shows his wife, who also expresses self-pity for being the wife of an ex British military personnel who is now seeking some self glorifying adventure. The movie is obviously not all bad, yet in general is not a good mountaineering movie.
