I've read horror since I was a wee lad, so for more than 40 years. And yes, I've read everything by Stephen King. Well, let me tell ya, Christopher Knight's "Season of the Witch" blew King out of the water. It's been decades since I've been scared by a book, but SotW did just that. Am I going to Chillermania to get more? You bet your sweet patootie!
