Sooo far fetched from the appendices and the original lore of Tolkien I only made it half was through the second episode. The fact that galadriel is sent back to Valinor for brave acts of chasing saurons shadow (which never happened) was enough for me to give up as she as a Noldor would never have returned during those times, especially after the manner in which they left originally. Among many other inconsistencies I found myself wishing the show hadn't been made as to keep to magic and mystery that surrounds those times alive in my mind without putting faces to those beloved characters that have now been butchered by the creators (the actors did a great job portraying their parts, the way the parts were written is what I have issues with)
