My experience so far is the game is fun.. Purely and simply. People keep crapping on about it being woke and have political ideologies and not being historically accurate but at the same time forget... THIS IS A GAME.
Like previous iterations of Assassins Creed it's not completely historically accurate. Since when did Ezio live nor have Leonardo Davinci design parachutes nor flying machines for him. But I digress.
Essentially this game will have you exploring for hours, taking in a beautiful landscape while at the same time jumping around and climbing like any other AC game.
The level up system seems alright, skills and fighting is fluid enough to be engaging and or punishing depending on your learning curve.
I've barely touched the story. Too busy exploring and taking in the beautiful landscape and scenery.
End of the day, if you can look past historical inaccuracies and just enjoy a tale then this is the game for you.
I'm a big fan of the series and have been ever since the very first game which was soooooo repetitive but also great. I can't see myself not supporting a franchise I love so much.
I'll continue to play Shadows while laughing at all prejudice people have against a video game not being historically accurate. Who cares really? I know i don't.
